# Yang Metal

Your Day Master is Yang Metal (庚 Geng). The traditional image is raw metal: ore in the rock, an axe, a heavy blade before it is polished. It is strong, unrefined and direct. An axe is made to cut through things, and ore needs fire and a smith before it becomes a tool. Geng carries both sides of this image: great natural force, and the potential to become far more useful once tempered.
