# Yin Metal

Your Day Master is Yin Metal (辛 Xin). Its image is the jewel, the fine metal of a ring or a polished blade, a gem that has already been cut. Where Geng is ore waiting for the forge, Xin is the finished piece. It is valued for clarity and finish rather than mass. A jewel catches the light, is kept with care, and loses much of its value if it is scratched or left in the dirt.

## Core nature

You tend to be refined, discerning and quietly self-aware. You notice quality: in work, in manners, in how things are made. You have standards, and you apply them to yourself first. People often sense a certain elegance in you, even if you do not try to project it.

Yin Metal is sensitive to how it is treated. Respect matters a great deal to you, and criticism can stay with you longer than you let others see.
