Link with the year
For a Yang Metal (庚 Geng) Day Master, the Yin Fire (丁 Ding) of 2027 is the Direct Officer (正官). Fire controls Metal, and with opposite polarity the control works as refinement rather than force, like a smith’s flame shaping a blade. The Goat (未 Wei) branch is Earth, which produces Metal, so pressure from above comes with support from below.
How it may feel
Rules, roles and responsibility may feel more present. You might be asked to take on a formal position, meet a standard or represent a group. Reputation matters this year, and so does how you conduct yourself in public. Some of the pressure can feel like a test of patience. It is also a year in which steady, honest work tends to be noticed.
Advice for the year
Work within structures rather than against them, and choose a few commitments you can keep fully. Clear up any loose ends in contracts, records or official matters. If your Day Master is strong, accept responsibility and let the year polish your skills. If it is weak, seek mentors and allies, keep your schedule realistic and do not take on duties only to please others.
Direct Officer: the god of the year for 庚 Geng
Direct Officer (正官) is the element that controls your Day Master, in the opposite polarity. For Yang Fire it is Yin Water; for Yin Metal it is Yang Fire. Because the polarities differ, the control is measured and accepted. It feels less like pressure and more like a framework you agree to live within.
