The centre of your chart is the Day Master, the element and polarity of the day stem, and in your case it is 壬 Ren, Yang Water. Everything else in the chart is read in relation to it. Its classical image is the ocean or the great river: something that is always moving, carries ships and silt, and finds a way around whatever stands in its path. Dam it and it rises, block it and it turns. The surface may look calm while a strong current runs underneath, with a depth that cannot be seen from the shore. This is the image to hold in mind for what follows, because it describes the kind of energy you are built on.
In temperament, Ren Water tends to make a person quick, resourceful and broad. Your mind covers a lot of ground and likes to connect ideas across different fields. You are drawn to new information, new people, travel and change, and you can feel confined when routine or narrow limits last too long. Yang Water is also independent. You often prefer to set your own course, and you adapt to circumstances by flowing around obstacles instead of pushing straight through them. Questions
How is the report different from the free chart?
The chart shows the calculation: pillars, elements, gods. The report explains what follows from it and connects the facts: how the strength of the Day Master changes what the gods mean, which decades support a weak element.
What if I do not know my birth time?
The report comes without the hour pillar: sections and paragraphs about it are skipped, and the first section explains why. The rest of the chart does not depend on the time, apart from rare days on a year or month boundary: the chart page warns about them.
Can I order a report for someone else?
Yes. Calculate their chart and order the report from that chart page. A name on the order is optional.
Does the report predict events?
No. BaZi describes tendencies and periods, not events. The report is not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice.
