The year 2027 arrives as 丁未 Ding Wei, a Yin Fire stem sitting on the Goat. One thread is not, and it is worth separating the two early.
Start with the stem. Ding (Yin Fire) forms a stem combination (天干合) with Ren, and Ren appears twice in your chart: as the stem of your natal year pillar, and as your Day Master itself in the day pillar. So the year's stem reaches for both at once. In classical terms the Ding and Ren pair points toward Wood, but that transformation depends on the season and on branch support, and it is the rarer outcome. Far more often the two stems simply hold on to each other. For you, that can feel like a pull toward a person, a role or a commitment that shapes your choices over the year. Because the combination reaches your Day Master directly, it can be a year when your attention is drawn outward, toward an agreement or a bond, and you do a little less of your usual independent work. If the commitment suits you, it brings cooperation and ease. If it does not, you may notice a promise keeping you in place longer than you planned. The practical lesson is to choose your attachments knowingly rather than drifting into them.

Questions
Why does the year start on 4 February?
In BaZi the year starts at Lichun, the solar start of spring, not on 1 January and not at the lunar Chinese New Year. The 丁未 year starts on 4 February 2027. More on the method page.
MethodDo I need the natal report to read the forecast?
No. The first section of the forecast explains your chart briefly. Together the two reports cost less than separately.
What if I do not know my birth time?
The forecast comes without the hour pillar: interactions are counted with three pillars instead of four, and the text says so.
Does the forecast predict events?
No. It describes which themes of the year get stronger and which need attention. The forecast is not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice.
